Overview

The Geissele Automatics Super Modular Rail (SMR) MK16 is a 15-inch free-float handguard engineered for the AR-15 platform. Machined from 7000-series aluminum and finished in a Type 3 hardcoat anodized black, this rail features a 1.26-inch inner diameter and a 1.59-inch outer diameter. The profile stands 2.39 inches tall, providing a robust surface for handling and accessory mounting. The MK16 utilizes an M-LOK attachment system along the sides and bottom, paired with a full-length Picatinny top rail. The design incorporates an updated barrel nut system with anti-rotation tabs and set-screws to ensure superior rigidity and zero retention. At 15.6 ounces (17.1 ounces with the included barrel nut), the rail is designed for durability and consistency, leaving the barrel free-floated to eliminate pressure points.

About DealsGunsAmmo (DGA)

A price and stock aggregator built for a market the incumbents stopped improving.

We compare listings across dozens of retailers and normalize everything to true cost-per-round — not sticker price, not case-size guesswork.

Who we are

DealsGunsAmmo (DGA) is an independent data provider tracking price and stock across the ammo, firearm, and parts market — giving buyers and the industry an outside, macro-level view of where the market actually stands.

What we’re building

A data-driven platform meant to be the go-to spot for purchasing decisions — comparing offers across vendors and tracking price history, so you can read the market as a whole, not just one listing at a time.

Who we serveNOW

Today, we help buyers on their purchasing journey with price alerts and a real look at where prices have actually been.

LaterNEXT

Down the road, we plan to sell that same market data back to vendors — inventory demand, customer interest and sentiment, and competitive pricing.
