Overview

The Geissele Super Duty is a semi-automatic rifle chambered in 5.56x45mm NATO utilizing a direct impingement operating system. It features a 16-inch manganese phosphated, cold hammer-forged, chrome-lined barrel with a 1:7 twist, complemented by a Geissele Sparkout flash hider. The rifle utilizes a Geissele length gas system and a Super Compact Gas Block. The upper receiver is paired with a 15-inch MK16 Super Modular Rail featuring a center-aligning tab to prevent rotation, while the lower receiver is precision-machined from 7075-T6 aluminum. Internal and control components include the SSA-E X two-stage trigger with a Lightning Bow, an Ultra Duty Lower Parts Kit with an ambidextrous Super Configurable safety, and an ultra-precision trigger guard. The bolt carrier group is machined from mil-spec 8620 steel with a staked, chrome-lined gas key. It is equipped with a mil-spec buffer tube housing a Super-42 H2 buffer, an OD Green B5 Enhanced SOPMOD stock, and a Geissele polymer grip in matching OD Green. The metal finish is OD Green. This model ships without a magazine.
