Overview
The Geissele Super Duty MOD1 Complete Upper Receiver in 5.56x45mm features a 16-inch heavy, cold hammer-forged, chrome-lined barrel with a 1:7 twist rate. It is equipped with a Geissele Super Compact Gas Block and an Anodized Desert Dirt finish. The upper utilizes a 15-inch Super Modular Rail MK16 with a center-aligning tab to ensure a rigid, rotation-free fit. Muzzle control is managed by a HUXWRX Flash Hider-QD device. The included Reliability Enhanced Bolt Carrier Group features a Nanoweapon coating for corrosion resistance and extended upper rails for improved feeding stability. The Stressproof bolt is forged from Carpenter 158+ steel to increase fatigue resistance and is rigorously tested, including high-pressure and magnetic particle inspections. This upper assembly also includes an Airborne charging handle.
