Overview
The Geissele AR-15 Super Duty MOD1 Complete Upper Receiver is chambered in 5.56x45mm and features a 16-inch cold hammer forged, chrome-lined HBAR barrel with a 1:7 twist. Designed for durability and performance in high-volume fire environments, the upper utilizes a reinforced .812-inch gas journal with a custom gas block and a thicker straight gas tube for improved heat management. The barrel is finished with a nanoweapon-coated HUXWRX Flash Hider-QD muzzle device, which is compatible with HUXWRX FLOW suppressors. Included with the upper is a 15-inch Super Modular Rail MK16, which utilizes a center-aligning tab for a secure, non-rotating fit and includes integral stainless steel QD sling inserts. The upper is equipped with a Geissele Reliability Enhanced Bolt Carrier Group, featuring a nanoweapon coating and an extended rail design for increased feeding stability. The assembly uses a forged Stressproof bolt constructed from Carpenter 158+ steel, which is HPT and MPI tested for fatigue resistance. The package also features a Geissele Airborne charging handle and an anodized black finish.
