The Geissele Maritime Bolt Catch is an enhanced mil-spec replacement for AR-15 and M16/M4 platforms. Manufactured from heat-treated 8620 steel with a manganese phosphate coating, it features an expanded surface area and aggressive checkering to facilitate faster, more efficient bolt manipulation. Its extended design allows for easier operation by both left-handed and right-handed shooters and provides positive feedback for use with gloves or in low-light conditions. Note: Installation requires the existing mil-spec spring and plunger.
