Overview

The Galco Kodiak Hunter is a heavy-duty, scoped big-bore handgun-hunting rig designed for large-framed single- and double-action revolvers such as the Smith & Wesson X-Frame .460 and .500 models with 8.375-inch barrels, including scoped configurations. Crafted from havana brown leather, the system comes fully assembled and includes the holster, a padded shoulder strap, and a torso strap. Utilizing modern backpack principles, the diagonal torso harness shifts weight off the shoulder when tightened, allowing for comfortable all-day field carry without requiring tools or screws for adjustment. Its open-top construction facilitates an abbreviated draw stroke for faster target acquisition compared to traditional scabbard holsters. Note that this holster does not feature cartridge loops.

About DealsGunsAmmo (DGA)

A price and stock aggregator built for a market the incumbents stopped improving.

We compare listings across dozens of retailers and normalize everything to true cost-per-round — not sticker price, not case-size guesswork.

Who we are

DealsGunsAmmo (DGA) is an independent data provider tracking price and stock across the ammo, firearm, and parts market — giving buyers and the industry an outside, macro-level view of where the market actually stands.

What we’re building

A data-driven platform meant to be the go-to spot for purchasing decisions — comparing offers across vendors and tracking price history, so you can read the market as a whole, not just one listing at a time.

Who we serveNOW

Today, we help buyers on their purchasing journey with price alerts and a real look at where prices have actually been.

LaterNEXT

Down the road, we plan to sell that same market data back to vendors — inventory demand, customer interest and sentiment, and competitive pricing.
