The Galco High Ready chest holster is designed for comfortable, torso-worn crossdraw carry when hunting, fishing, camping, hiking, or riding. Its chest-positioning keeps the handgun clear of waist or back-mounted gear, accommodates rifle carries on either shoulder, and helps keep the firearm dry while wading. The holster utilizes a hybrid construction featuring a ballistic nylon front over a closed-cell foam body, paired with Galco's Comfort Cloth—an adaptive performance mesh lining that provides padding and moisture wicking. A rigid, open-top Kydex holster pocket ensures a fast draw, easy re-holstering, and accommodates most pistol-mounted red dot sights. The harness features a three-point independent pivoting attachment system with 2-inch wide tubular webbing straps and three secure metal side-release buckles to distribute heavy handgun weight evenly.
