Overview

The Freedom Ordnance FX-9 is a semi-automatic pistol chambered in 9mm Luger, featuring an 8-inch barrel and an overall design that emphasizes modularity and compact handling. The firearm is constructed with billet, type III anodized aluminum receivers and includes steel components—such as the bolt, ejector, and feed ramp—finished with a black nitride coating for enhanced durability and corrosion resistance. It utilizes a direct blowback operating system and is designed to accept standard double-stack Glock-style 9mm magazines, with a capacity of 33+1 rounds. This platform incorporates familiar AR-15 style operating controls and is compatible with various AR-15 accessories, including stocks and free-float handguards. It features a 7.375-inch M-LOK rail for accessory mounting and comes equipped with a KAK stabilizing arm brace. The barrel is threaded 1/2x28. The FX-9 does not include sights and features a black grip and frame finish.
