Overview

The Freedom Ordnance FX-9 is a semi-automatic tactical pistol chambered in 9mm Luger, featuring a 10-inch barrel with a 1:10" twist and a 1/2"x28 threaded muzzle equipped with a faux suppressor. Designed with familiar operating controls for the avid AR-15 user, it accepts standard AR-15 stocks, buffer tube assemblies, and free-float M-LOK rail handguards. The upper and lower receivers are machined from billet aluminum with a black anodized finish and are notably shorter than a standard AR-15 platform. Critical internal components—including the barrel, bolt, ejector, last-round hold-open, feed ramp, and extractor—are constructed from full hard nitride steel for enhanced corrosion resistance and extended wear properties. This black model utilizes an SB Mini brace, an A2 grip, and accepts standard double-stack Glock-style 9mm magazines with a 32+1 capacity.
