The Foxtrot Mike Products Mike-15 RMB (Recoil Mitigating Buffer) is a 5-ounce carbine-length buffer designed specifically for the Mike-15 platform. Rather than relying solely on dead mass, the RMB utilizes a refined internal design featuring a sliding outer buffer body, a precision-balanced reciprocating internal mass, an integrated dampening spring, and a urethane impact pad. This system absorbs and dissipates recoil energy throughout the operating cycle to deliver a smoother impulse, reduce felt recoil, and virtually eliminate bolt bounce. It requires a compatible A5-length buffer tube and spring.
