Overview

The Fortis SWITCH MOD2 rail system is a 15.3-inch free-float handguard for AR-platform rifles. Machined from 6061-T6 aluminum with a 7075-T6 locking handle, it features a tool-less, patent-pending locking mechanism for easy rail changes. The MOD 2 design replaces the 12 o'clock Picatinny section with open vents to improve barrel cooling and reduce weight; a small section is retained at the front for backup iron sights. The rail has an internal diameter of 1.34 inches and features M-LOK mounting slots at the 3, 6, and 9 o'clock positions, as well as offset positions. The unit includes a 4140 heat-treated barrel nut.

About DealsGunsAmmo (DGA)

A price and stock aggregator built for a market the incumbents stopped improving.

We compare listings across dozens of retailers and normalize everything to true cost-per-round — not sticker price, not case-size guesswork.

Who we are

DealsGunsAmmo (DGA) is an independent data provider tracking price and stock across the ammo, firearm, and parts market — giving buyers and the industry an outside, macro-level view of where the market actually stands.

What we’re building

A data-driven platform meant to be the go-to spot for purchasing decisions — comparing offers across vendors and tracking price history, so you can read the market as a whole, not just one listing at a time.

Who we serveNOW

Today, we help buyers on their purchasing journey with price alerts and a real look at where prices have actually been.

LaterNEXT

Down the road, we plan to sell that same market data back to vendors — inventory demand, customer interest and sentiment, and competitive pricing.
