Overview

The Fortis Rapid Engagement Device (RED) muzzle brake is engineered for AR-15 rifles chambered in 5.56x45mm NATO / .223 Remington. Machined from durable 4140 steel with a corrosion-resistant black nitride finish, this military-grade muzzle device is designed to effectively mitigate muzzle rise and maintain shooter speed and accuracy during rapid or full-auto firing strings. Measuring 2.28 inches in length and weighing 2.9 ounces, the brake features open port geometry, is compatible with Fortis Control Shield accessories, and includes a crush washer for installation on a 1/2"x28 threaded barrel.
