Overview

The Fortis Switch M2 17-inch handguard is a lightweight and robust free-float rail system engineered specifically for the DPMS high-profile AR-10 platform. It features a patent-pending locking mechanism that allows for tool-less removal and quick changes of rails for various mission or competition setups. The design eliminates the traditional 12 o'clock Picatinny section in favor of open venting, which improves airflow from the barrel, reduces heat buildup, and provides a streamlined profile while retaining a small section at the front for backup iron sights. M-LOK slots are positioned at the 3, 6, and 9 o'clock locations as well as off-set angles for direct mounting of lights and accessories. Constructed from aircraft-grade 6061-T6 aluminum with a 7075-T6 aluminum locking handle, the handguard is finished with a hard-coat anodized black coating. It utilizes a heat-treated 4140 barrel nut (1-7/16 x 16 T.P.I.) requiring a spanner wrench for installation. The unit has an internal diameter of 1.51 inches and is manufactured in the USA.

About DealsGunsAmmo (DGA)

A price and stock aggregator built for a market the incumbents stopped improving.

We compare listings across dozens of retailers and normalize everything to true cost-per-round — not sticker price, not case-size guesswork.

Who we are

DealsGunsAmmo (DGA) is an independent data provider tracking price and stock across the ammo, firearm, and parts market — giving buyers and the industry an outside, macro-level view of where the market actually stands.

What we’re building

A data-driven platform meant to be the go-to spot for purchasing decisions — comparing offers across vendors and tracking price history, so you can read the market as a whole, not just one listing at a time.

Who we serveNOW

Today, we help buyers on their purchasing journey with price alerts and a real look at where prices have actually been.

LaterNEXT

Down the road, we plan to sell that same market data back to vendors — inventory demand, customer interest and sentiment, and competitive pricing.
