Fort Scott Munitions .45 ACP ammunition features a 180-grain solid copper spun (SCS) bullet engineered for match-grade accuracy and reliable self-defense performance. Precision-machined from 100% solid copper on a CNC lathe, these lead-free rounds are compliant for use in areas where lead is prohibited and are safe for reloadable brass cases with boxer primers. This ammunition utilizes a patented Tumble Upon Impact (TUI) design that causes the projectile to tumble upon entering soft tissue, creating a dynamic wound cavity while reducing the risk of hazardous over-penitration. Each round achieves an average muzzle velocity of 989 fps and a muzzle energy of 391 ft-lbs. Rounds are packaged in 20-round boxes.
