Overview

The FNH FN M249S Para is a semi-automatic, closed-bolt rifle modeled after the military squad automatic weapon. It features a 16.1-inch changeable, cold hammer-forged, chrome-lined bore and chamber barrel with an integrated MIL-STD bipod and an A2-style flash suppressor or standard profile. Built on a formed steel frame with a claw extractor and pivoting ejector, it includes a curved trigger, a crossbolt safety, and a top cover with an integrated MIL-STD 1913 mounting rail. The stock assembly consists of a rotating, telescoping metal buttstock with a hydraulic recoil buffer system and a non-slip buttplate. Chambered in 5.56x45mm NATO with a Flat Dark Earth finish, it feeds from standard disintegrating link belts or 30-round magazines and includes an under-mounted polymer ammunition container.
