Overview
The FN SCAR 17S NRCH is a semi-automatic modern sporting rifle featuring a short-stroke gas piston operating system and user-swappable, non-reciprocating dual charging handles. It is equipped with a 16.25-inch cold hammer-forged, chrome-lined steel barrel with a 1:12 twist rate and a muzzle brake, housed within a rugged monolithic aluminum upper receiver with a full-length MIL-STD-1913 Picatinny rail. Chambered in 7.62x51mm NATO with a 20+1 capacity, this right-hand rifle includes adjustable folding front and rear iron sights, a manual thumb safety, an A2 grip, and a side-folding telescoping synthetic stock with an adjustable cheek rest and length of pull. The exterior is finished in Flat Dark Earth anodizing. It has an overall length ranging from 36 to 38.50 inches and weighs 8 pounds.
