The FN 509 Midsize Tactical is a striker-fired 9mm semi-automatic pistol featuring a 4.5-inch cold hammer-forged stainless steel threaded barrel with a recessed target crown. Built on a matte black polymer frame with a Picatinny accessory rail and interchangeable backstraps, it includes the FN Low-Profile Optics-Mounting System, suppressor-height 3-dot night sights, fully ambidextrous controls, an external extractor, and a flat-faced trigger.
