Overview
The FN 509 Tactical Full Size semi-automatic handgun is chambered in 9mm Luger with a 10+1 capacity, featuring a gray Cerakote polymer frame with a Picatinny rail and a gray Cerakote slide. Built upon designs tested in the U.S. Army Modular Handgun Trials, it features a 4.50-inch black target crown and threaded steel barrel with a thread protector, alongside a patent-pending Low-Profile Optics Mounting System designed for miniature red dot optics that co-witness with suppressor-height 3-dot night sights. The slide incorporates protective sight wings and front and rear serrations. Additional features include ambidextrous controls, a polymer frame with interchangeable backstraps, and a direct-mounting setup without intervening plates. This bundle includes five 10-round magazines and an FN logo soft pistol case.
