Overview

The FN 509 Compact Tactical is a 9mm Luger handgun featuring a 4.32-inch cold hammer-forged, threaded barrel (1/2"x28) compatible with suppressors and compensators. It is built on a black polymer frame with a Picatinny rail and an interchangeable backstrap system. The slide is constructed of stainless steel with a black PVD finish, featuring serrations and the FN Low-Profile Optics Mounting System, which accepts most miniature red dot sights. The pistol is equipped with suppressor-height night sights and offers fully ambidextrous controls, including a slide stop and magazine release. It has a capacity of 10+1 rounds and includes two magazines, two backstraps, a locking device, and a soft case.
