Overview

The FN 509 Compact Tactical is a semi-automatic 9mm handgun designed for concealed carry and tactical versatility. It features a 4.32-inch cold hammer-forged steel threaded barrel (1/2"x28) compatible with suppressors and compensators. The slide is constructed from black PVD-finished stainless steel with optic-cut serrations and is compatible with the FN Low-Profile Optics-Mounting System, which accommodates over 10 different miniature red dot sights. The pistol is built on a black polymer frame featuring an integrated Picatinny rail and fully ambidextrous controls, including the slide stop lever and magazine release. It comes with interchangeable backstraps to customize grip fit. The handgun features suppressor-height 3-dot night sights that co-witness with mounted optics. The total capacity is 24+1 with the extended magazine or 12+1 with the standard magazine; the package includes two magazines and a soft carrying case.
