The FN 509 MRD full-size semi-automatic handgun is chambered in 9mm Luger with a 10+1 capacity, designed for personal or home defense. It features a 4.50-inch cold hammer-forged stainless steel barrel with a black finish and a signature recessed target crown to protect the rifling and maintain long-term accuracy. The slide and Flat Dark Earth PVD-finished stainless steel construction pair with a Flat Dark Earth polymer frame featuring a Picatinny rail, textured grip, and ambidextrous controls. The slide includes serrations and an optic cut equipped with the patented Low Profile Optics Mounting System. Additional features include a double-action striker-fired operation, co-witness iron sights, and a manual-free safety setup.
