Overview

The FN M249S is a semi-automatic version of the FN MINIMI light machine gun, chambered in 5.56x45mm NATO. It features an 18.5-inch cold hammer-forged, chrome-lined barrel and operates from a closed-bolt position. The rifle includes a formed steel frame, a top cover integrated with a MIL-STD-1913 mounting rail, and a highly ergonomic polymer buttstock assembly with a hydraulic recoil buffer system. Designed for versatility, the M249S can be fed via standard 30-round magazines or disintegrating link ammunition belts. Additional features include a folding steel bipod, a folding carry handle, a quick-change barrel capability, and an under-mounted polymer ammunition container. The rifle is finished in Flat Dark Earth.

About DealsGunsAmmo (DGA)

A price and stock aggregator built for a market the incumbents stopped improving.

We compare listings across dozens of retailers and normalize everything to true cost-per-round — not sticker price, not case-size guesswork.

Who we are

DealsGunsAmmo (DGA) is an independent data provider tracking price and stock across the ammo, firearm, and parts market — giving buyers and the industry an outside, macro-level view of where the market actually stands.

What we’re building

A data-driven platform meant to be the go-to spot for purchasing decisions — comparing offers across vendors and tracking price history, so you can read the market as a whole, not just one listing at a time.

Who we serveNOW

Today, we help buyers on their purchasing journey with price alerts and a real look at where prices have actually been.

LaterNEXT

Down the road, we plan to sell that same market data back to vendors — inventory demand, customer interest and sentiment, and competitive pricing.
