Overview

The FN AR-15 barrel is manufactured from U.S.-sourced Chrome Moly Vanadium steel in accordance with Mil-B-11595E specifications. Each barrel undergoes rigorous High Pressure Testing (HPT) and Magnetic Particle Inspection (MPI) to detect micro-stresses and flaws, ensuring consistent factory quality. The bore and chamber are chrome-lined to provide superior resistance to heat erosion and corrosion, significantly extending barrel life while promoting reliable chambering and extraction. Designed with an M16 profile, mid-length gas system, button rifling, and M4-style feed ramps and barrel extensions, this barrel ensures consistent feeding and performance. A matte black Manganese Phosphate finish is applied to protect the exterior against corrosion and oxidation.
