Federal Premium Personal Defense HST ammunition is engineered to deliver reliable expansion, optimum penetration, and superior terminal performance. Designed to pass stringent law enforcement testing protocols through various barriers, the deep tapered hollow point will not plug upon impact. The jacket and core are locked together via a cannelure and a tapered jacket design to provide nearly 100 percent weight retention and consistent feeding. Each round features a nickel-plated brass case with waterproofing at the case mouth and primer, along with a reliable primer and consistent powder charge.
