The Faxon Match Series 3.1in drop-in barrel for the Smith & Wesson M&P Shield 9mm is machined in-house from stress-relieved 416-R stainless steel. It features an 11-degree target crown, 1:10" twist rate, and conventional rifling, which allows for compatibility with a wide range of ammunition, including cast lead bullets. The exterior is finished with a Salt Bath Nitride coating for enhanced lubricity, wear resistance, and corrosion protection. Designed for a tight lockup, the barrel fits factory-spec slides without the need for gunsmithing.
