The Faxon Firearms Match Series 20-inch barrel is precision-manufactured for the .22 ARC cartridge. Crafted from 416-R stainless steel, it features 5R rifling—a hybrid profile with lands opposite grooves that reduces jacket deformation to enhance velocity and simplify cleaning. The barrel is finished with a nitride coating both inside and out for corrosion resistance and increased longevity. Designed for AR-15 platforms, this barrel utilizes a rifle-length gas system and a 1:7 twist rate. The barrel extension is coated in Nickel Teflon, which provides dry lubricity and a precise fit to the receiver, contributing to improved overall accuracy. Each barrel is individually magnetic particle inspection (MPI) tested for safety and quality assurance. The exterior profile features flame fluting and is threaded 1/2x28 for muzzle devices.
