Overview

The Faxon Firearms M24 5R prefit rifle barrel is machined in-house from 4150 gun-barrel quality bar-stock stainless steel and features a black QPQ nitride finish. Designed to fit and function seamlessly with the FX7 bolt action receiver, this 26-inch barrel is chambered in 6mm Creedmoor with a 1:8" twist and a 5/8"x24 thread pattern. It utilizes 5R hybrid rifling with opposite groove lands and reduced sharp angles to decrease jacket deformation, increase velocity, and simplify cleaning. The barrel is fully particle-inspection tested, button-rifled, honed, lapped, and features a recessed target crown.
