Overview

The Faxon Firearms Gunner Lightweight Complete Bolt Carrier Group is an AR-15 compatible assembly optimized to reduce weight and improve cycling performance. The complete BCG weighs 8.5 ounces, with the carrier and key alone weighing 6.24 ounces. The carrier is machined from heat-treated 8620 steel with forward assist serrations, while the bolt is machined from 9310 tool steel with MPI testing, a 45-degree chamfered back of lugs, and an S7 tool steel extractor equipped with a spring, insert, and Crane o-ring. All components feature a Salt Bath Nitride (QPQ) finish for corrosion resistance and reduced friction, and the gas key is secured with fully staked Grade 8 fasteners.
