Overview

The Faxon Firearms Type 1 bolt assembly is designed for AR-10 platforms chambered in 7.62x39mm. Constructed from 9310 tool steel, this bolt offers superior strength compared to standard C158 materials and undergoes full MIL-SPEC heat treatment, shot peening, and Magnetic Particle Inspection (MPI) to ensure structural integrity without defects. It features a durable salt bath QPQ nitride finish that increases surface hardness, reduces friction, and provides exceptional corrosion resistance. Additional features include chamfered back bolt lugs (45 degrees) for reliable feeding under high-pressure handloads and fast lightweight actions, as well as an S7 tool steel extractor that is heat-treated, shot peened, QPQ nitrided, and equipped with a spring, insert, and "Crane" O-ring.

About DealsGunsAmmo (DGA)

A price and stock aggregator built for a market the incumbents stopped improving.

We compare listings across dozens of retailers and normalize everything to true cost-per-round — not sticker price, not case-size guesswork.

Who we are

DealsGunsAmmo (DGA) is an independent data provider tracking price and stock across the ammo, firearm, and parts market — giving buyers and the industry an outside, macro-level view of where the market actually stands.

What we’re building

A data-driven platform meant to be the go-to spot for purchasing decisions — comparing offers across vendors and tracking price history, so you can read the market as a whole, not just one listing at a time.

Who we serveNOW

Today, we help buyers on their purchasing journey with price alerts and a real look at where prices have actually been.

LaterNEXT

Down the road, we plan to sell that same market data back to vendors — inventory demand, customer interest and sentiment, and competitive pricing.
