Overview

The Faxon Firearms Gen2 Bolt Carrier Group is designed for .308 Win, 6.5 Creedmoor, and 8.6 Blackout platforms. The bolt is constructed from 9310 tool steel, shot-peened, and magnetic particle inspected (MPI). It features a Salt Bath Nitride (QPQ) finish for corrosion resistance and surface hardness. The bolt lugs are chamfered at 45 degrees to facilitate reliable cycling with high-pressure hand loads. The carrier is machined from 8620 steel and is "superfinished" to reduce friction and fouling. The gas key is constructed from 4140 steel, secured with grade 8 fasteners, and properly staked. The assembly includes a 4140 steel cam pin, an S7 tool steel extractor with a spring, insert, and O-ring, and forward assist serrations. This BCG is DPMS Gen 1 compatible.

About DealsGunsAmmo (DGA)

A price and stock aggregator built for a market the incumbents stopped improving.

We compare listings across dozens of retailers and normalize everything to true cost-per-round — not sticker price, not case-size guesswork.

Who we are

DealsGunsAmmo (DGA) is an independent data provider tracking price and stock across the ammo, firearm, and parts market — giving buyers and the industry an outside, macro-level view of where the market actually stands.

What we’re building

A data-driven platform meant to be the go-to spot for purchasing decisions — comparing offers across vendors and tracking price history, so you can read the market as a whole, not just one listing at a time.

Who we serveNOW

Today, we help buyers on their purchasing journey with price alerts and a real look at where prices have actually been.

LaterNEXT

Down the road, we plan to sell that same market data back to vendors — inventory demand, customer interest and sentiment, and competitive pricing.
