The Faxon Firearms Match Series barrel for the Smith & Wesson M&P Full-Size pistol is machined from stress-relieved 416-R stainless steel and finished with a black nitride coating for increased lubricity and resistance to surface wear. This 4.25-inch, drop-in barrel features flame fluting and is threaded for the attachment of muzzle devices. The barrel utilizes conventional 1:10 twist rifling, making it compatible with a wide range of ammunition, including cast lead bullets. It is designed to drop into factory-spec slides with no gunsmithing required, offering tighter-than-factory tolerances for improved lockup and consistency. Each barrel includes an 11-degree target crown and 9mm SAAMI-spec chambers.
