Overview

The Faxon Duty Series Big Gunner LR-308 barrel is machined from 4150 CMV steel and finished with a black nitride coating for enhanced durability and longevity. Chambered in 308 Winchester with a 16-inch barrel length and a 1:10-inch twist, it features a medium-taper profile behind the gas block and a .750" gas block journal compatible with most common gas blocks. Forward of the journal, the thinner taper reduces weight while maintaining rigidity for high rates of fire and suppressor use. Each barrel undergoes magnetic particle inspection (MPI) and air-gauge testing to ensure optimal accuracy.
