The Faxon AR-15 Bolt Carrier Group is superfinished and full-auto rated to reduce friction, fouling, and increase operational smoothness. Built with a heat-treated 8620 steel carrier and a strong 9310 tool steel bolt that has been magnetic particle inspection (MPI) tested and QPQ salt-bath nitrided, this BCG offers superior corrosion resistance and surface hardness. The bolt features chamfered 45-degree back lugs for reliability under high pressure, a heat-treated S7 tool steel extractor equipped with a spring, insert, and Crane O-ring, and a gas key secured with fully staked Grade 8 fasteners.
