The FAB Defense Ultimag 30R is a durable 30-round black polymer magazine designed for AR-15, M16, and M4 platforms chambered in 5.56x45mm NATO. Built from lightweight, reinforced polymer, it features translucent round-count windows on both sides along with an indicative follower for rapid visual confirmation from 10 to 30 rounds. The design incorporates a multi-textured gripping surface for secure handling, a unique floor plate that allows versatile coupling options, and an extended floorplate to improve manipulation when wearing gloves and gear. Inside, a low-friction follower and a hybrid AK-style spring design—coated in long-lasting stainless steel cataphoresis for corrosion protection—prevent tilt and binding to ensure smooth, reliable feeding. The magazine is tool-free for hand disassembly and includes over-travel protection stops on the follower as well as compatibility with standard double and triple mag pouches.
