EGW HD Higher Magazine Catch w/Checkered Extended Button Fits 1911 Commander/1911 Government, Blue

Overview

The EGW HD Higher Magazine Catch is a precision-engineered upgrade designed for single-stack 1911 Government and Commander model platforms. Machined from 4140 chrome-moly steel with a durable blued finish, this heavy-duty magazine catch features a checkered extended button for a positive, non-slip grip during high-stress magazine changes. The catch shelf is raised by 0.020 inches, holding empty and loaded magazines slightly higher in the magwell to reduce nose-dives and improve the overall feeding reliability of hollow-point ammunition.
