Overview

The Ed Brown Series 80 1911 Machined Grip Safety is fully machined from stainless steel bar stock to provide precision fitting and reliability. Designed to sweep high onto the frame, it is countersunk to accommodate a Commander-styled hammer, allowing the shooter's hand to sit deep into the gun to better align the bore centerline with the forearm axis for reduced felt recoil and improved natural pointing. The rear features Memory Grooves cut into a raised pad to ensure positive depression and help the shooter maintain a consistent grip. Built using a 0.250-inch radius cut centered on the thumb safety pin hole, this safety is 3D CAD designed to remove maximum material from the frame without compromising structural integrity.

About DealsGunsAmmo (DGA)

A price and stock aggregator built for a market the incumbents stopped improving.

We compare listings across dozens of retailers and normalize everything to true cost-per-round — not sticker price, not case-size guesswork.

Who we are

DealsGunsAmmo (DGA) is an independent data provider tracking price and stock across the ammo, firearm, and parts market — giving buyers and the industry an outside, macro-level view of where the market actually stands.

What we’re building

A data-driven platform meant to be the go-to spot for purchasing decisions — comparing offers across vendors and tracking price history, so you can read the market as a whole, not just one listing at a time.

Who we serveNOW

Today, we help buyers on their purchasing journey with price alerts and a real look at where prices have actually been.

LaterNEXT

Down the road, we plan to sell that same market data back to vendors — inventory demand, customer interest and sentiment, and competitive pricing.
