The Ed Brown Kobra Carry is a compact, duty-grade semi-automatic 1911 pistol chambered in .45 ACP with a 7+1 capacity and a 4.25-inch stainless steel barrel featuring a recessed crown and heavy chamfer. Built with a carbon steel slide and frame finished in Black Gen4, the pistol features an innovative Bobtail housing that reduces the projecting butt of the mainspring housing for minimal clothing print during concealed carry without sacrificing full-size frame and magazine capacity. Unique to the Kobra series is the directional Snakeskin serration pattern on the slide, fore strap, and Bobtail housing, which provides a smooth upward slide and a secure bite for a firm grip. It comes equipped with a red fiber optic front sight, a fixed black rear sight, an extended beavertail grip safety, and laminate wood grips, with two magazines included.
