Overview

The DPMS Panther Arms Kitty Kat is a tactical AR-style pistol chambered in 5.56 NATO with a 30+1 capacity, featuring a 7.50-inch chrome moly vanadium threaded barrel with a 1:7" twist rate and a black phosphate finish. The muzzle is equipped with an A2 flash hider and a 1/2"x28 thread pattern, complemented by a pistol-length gas system and a .750" diameter low-profile gas block. The upper receiver is a forged 7075-T6 aluminum A3 type with a black hardcoat anodized finish and a DPMS 6.5 quad picatinny rail handguard. The lower receiver is likewise forged from 7075-T6 aluminum with a matching black hardcoat anodize. The internal bolt assembly features a mil-spec shot-peened Carpenter 158 steel bolt with a full-auto profile bolt carrier that is parkerized on the outside and chrome-lined inside, secured with grade-8 fasteners and a staked gas key. Fire control is managed by a single-stage mil-spec trigger group alongside a manual safety. Furniture includes an A2 pistol grip and a DPMS adjustable CAR brace mounted on a 6-position 7075-T6 aluminum buffer tube. This model ships with one 30-round DPMS aluminum magazine and features no factory sights.
