Overview

The Dirty Bird AR-15 Bolt Carrier Group arrives fully assembled and drop-in ready for 5.56/.223 and 300 Blackout firearms. The full-mass M16-profile carrier is machined from stress-relieved AISI 8620 steel, heat-treated, MP-inspected, and finished with a durable manganese phosphate coating alongside a hard-chromed internal bore and gas key. The bolt is machined from Carpenter No. 158 tool steel, shot-peened per ASTM B851/SAE AMS2430S, individually high-pressure tested (HP proof-tested), and magnetic particle inspected. It utilizes a tool steel extractor with a manganese phosphate finish and a mil-spec O-ring. The 430 chromoly steel gas key features Grade 8 properly staked hardware and is Permatex-sealed.
