Overview

The Daniel Defense RIS III Rail Interface System takes the battle-tested, free-floating design of the two-piece RIS II rails—utilized by U.S. Special Operations Command (SOCOM) since 2006—and updates it with M-LOK attachment points to reduce weight and increase versatility. Constructed from durable aircraft-grade 6061-T6 aluminum with Mil-Spec grade 8 fasteners, this 13-inch anodized black handguard features an uninterrupted upper rail platform with a Mil-Spec 1913 Picatinny rail, seven M-LOK attachment positions along its length, and integral QD swivel attachment points on both sides. It secures via a proven 6-bolt bolt-up system and is backward compatible with the RIS II barrel nut and bolt-up plate.
