Overview

The Daniel Defense 16-inch 5.56x45mm NATO barrel is cold hammer-forged from Mil-Spec 4150 Chrome Moly Vanadium steel. This forging process uses hydraulic pressure and a precision mandrel to create a defect-free bore with consistent lands, grooves, and chamber geometry. The barrel features a lightweight profile, making it suitable for versatile AR-15 builds, and is finished with a Mil-Spec heavy phosphate coating. The chamber and bore are chrome-lined for enhanced wear and corrosion resistance. Designed with a mid-length gas system, the barrel includes an A4 extension with M4 feed ramps to ensure reliable feeding. Each barrel undergoes magnetic particle inspection (MPI) to ensure quality. It features a 1:7" rifling twist, which is optimized for stabilizing medium-to-heavy projectiles, and is fully compatible with commercial and mil-spec ammunition.

About DealsGunsAmmo (DGA)

A price and stock aggregator built for a market the incumbents stopped improving.

We compare listings across dozens of retailers and normalize everything to true cost-per-round — not sticker price, not case-size guesswork.

Who we are

DealsGunsAmmo (DGA) is an independent data provider tracking price and stock across the ammo, firearm, and parts market — giving buyers and the industry an outside, macro-level view of where the market actually stands.

What we’re building

A data-driven platform meant to be the go-to spot for purchasing decisions — comparing offers across vendors and tracking price history, so you can read the market as a whole, not just one listing at a time.

Who we serveNOW

Today, we help buyers on their purchasing journey with price alerts and a real look at where prices have actually been.

LaterNEXT

Down the road, we plan to sell that same market data back to vendors — inventory demand, customer interest and sentiment, and competitive pricing.
