Overview

The Daniel Defense DD5 V4 semi-automatic rifle in 6.5 Creedmoor is engineered for extended long-range precision shooting. Built around an 18-inch cold hammer forged, proprietary steel, chrome-lined S2W profile barrel with a 1:11 twist, the rifle utilizes an innovative 4-bolt connection system for superior rigidity and accuracy. It features a user-adjustable gas block machined from 4140 hardened steel for reliable performance when shooting suppressed or unsuppressed. The superfinished, DLC-coated bolt carrier group incorporates an integrated buffer to optimize cycling and reduce recoil impulse, while the bolt features enhanced extractor geometry and dual ejectors. Additional features include a GRIP-N-RIP independently ambidextrous charging handle with anti-gas features, a CNC-machined 7075-T6 aluminum upper and lower receiver with an enhanced flared magazine well, a 15-inch M-LOK handguard, a 6-position Mil-Spec receiver extension, a glass-filled polymer stock and pistol grip with soft-touch overmolding, and a rear QD swivel attachment point. It accepts all SR-25 magazines and ships in a full-latch impact-resistant plastic case.
