Overview
The Daniel Defense DD5 V4 is a semi-automatic rifle chambered in 7.62x51mm NATO with an 18-inch cold hammer forged proprietary steel chrome-lined barrel. Engineered for long-range precision, it features an adjustable gas block for consistent performance when shooting suppressed or unsuppressed, alongside an innovative 4-bolt connection system and a free-floating M-LOK rail. The rifle includes a superfinished, DLC-coated bolt carrier group equipped with a buffer for optimized cycling and reduced recoil impulse. Controls are enhanced with an ambidextrous GRIP-N-RIP charging handle featuring anti-gas properties. The lower receiver, machined from 7075-T6 aluminum with an enhanced flared magazine well, is paired with a 6-position stock and SoftTouch overmolded polymer grip. It has a 20+1 capacity and accepts SR-25 magazines.
