Overview

The Daniel Defense DD5 V3 is a semi-automatic AR-10 style rifle chambered in 7.62x51mm NATO with a 20+1 capacity. Built around a 16-inch cold hammer forged, chrome-lined proprietary steel barrel with a 1:11 twist, it features an innovative 4-bolt connection system that dramatically increases the surface area between the barrel and upper receiver for bolt-action-level accuracy. The rifle incorporates a user-adjustable gas block for reliable suppressed or unsuppressed shooting, a superfinished DLC-coated bolt carrier group designed to reduce recoil impulse, and ambidextrous controls including a safety selector, magazine release, and bolt catch. Finished in black hard-coat anodizing with black phosphate barrel finishing, it includes an M-LOK handguard, a 6-position stock with SoftTouch overmolding, and a black polymer grip.
