Overview

The Daniel Defense DD5 pistol is a short-stroke, gas-piston-driven platform chambered in 7.62x51mm NATO. It features a 12.5-inch cold hammer forged, chrome-lined barrel with a threaded muzzle (5/8"x24) and includes a Daniel Defense linear compensator. The pistol utilizes an adjustable gas block for consistent operation when shooting suppressed or unsuppressed, a mid-length gas system, and a 4-bolt connection system for increased barrel-to-receiver rigidity. Built on the AR-platform architecture, the DD5 features a black finish, M-LOK handguard, and fully ambidextrous controls. It is equipped with an SB Tactical SBA3 brace, a Daniel Defense enhanced pistol grip, an enhanced trigger, and a GRIP-N-RIP independently ambidextrous charging handle. The bolt carrier group is designed for reduced recoil impulse and simplified maintenance.
