Overview

The Daniel Defense M4A1 FSP RIS II is a 12.25-inch, two-piece free-floating handguard designed originally for USSOCOM's SOPMOD II program. Constructed from aircraft-grade 6061-T6 aluminum with a Mil-Spec Type III hard coat Flat Dark Earth anodized finish, it utilizes a battle-proven 6-bolt steel bolt-up system that attaches securely to the upper receiver without requiring special tools. The two-piece design allows operators to mount an M4203 grenade launcher by removing the lower rail section. Featuring a continuous upper platform with Mil-Spec 1913 Picatinny rails and a dedicated top-rail cutout to accommodate a standard front sight base on a carbine-length gas system, this handguard combines rugged durability with enhanced accuracy.

About DealsGunsAmmo (DGA)

A price and stock aggregator built for a market the incumbents stopped improving.

We compare listings across dozens of retailers and normalize everything to true cost-per-round — not sticker price, not case-size guesswork.

Who we are

DealsGunsAmmo (DGA) is an independent data provider tracking price and stock across the ammo, firearm, and parts market — giving buyers and the industry an outside, macro-level view of where the market actually stands.

What we’re building

A data-driven platform meant to be the go-to spot for purchasing decisions — comparing offers across vendors and tracking price history, so you can read the market as a whole, not just one listing at a time.

Who we serveNOW

Today, we help buyers on their purchasing journey with price alerts and a real look at where prices have actually been.

LaterNEXT

Down the road, we plan to sell that same market data back to vendors — inventory demand, customer interest and sentiment, and competitive pricing.
