Overview

The Daniel Defense M4A1 FSP RIS II handguard is a 12.25-inch, two-piece, free-floating rail system for the AR-15 platform. Originally designed for the U.S. SOCOM SOPMOD II program, this handguard is constructed from 6061-T6 aluminum with a flat dark earth anodized finish. It features a picatinny rail system and a specialized cutout in the top rail to accommodate a standard front sight base on carbine-length gas systems, allowing for the free-floating of M203 grenade launchers.
