Overview

The Dan Wesson Specialist Commander is a semi-automatic 1911-style pistol chambered in .45 ACP, designed for duty, defense, and competition. It features a 4.25-inch stainless steel barrel and a bead-blasted, forged stainless steel slide with an inverted top rib. The frame is also constructed from stainless steel and includes an integral 1913 Picatinny rail for tactical accessories, 25 LPI front strap checkering, and an undercut trigger guard. Equipped with fixed tritium night sights (green front lamp with a white target ring and an amber rear dot), the Specialist offers quick target acquisition in low-light conditions. It includes an ambidextrous thumb safety, an extended magazine release, and a detachable two-piece magwell. The pistol is finished with black/brown G10 VZ Operator II grips that promote proper hand positioning and control. The firearm ships with two magazines.

About DealsGunsAmmo (DGA)

A price and stock aggregator built for a market the incumbents stopped improving.

We compare listings across dozens of retailers and normalize everything to true cost-per-round — not sticker price, not case-size guesswork.

Who we are

DealsGunsAmmo (DGA) is an independent data provider tracking price and stock across the ammo, firearm, and parts market — giving buyers and the industry an outside, macro-level view of where the market actually stands.

What we’re building

A data-driven platform meant to be the go-to spot for purchasing decisions — comparing offers across vendors and tracking price history, so you can read the market as a whole, not just one listing at a time.

Who we serveNOW

Today, we help buyers on their purchasing journey with price alerts and a real look at where prices have actually been.

LaterNEXT

Down the road, we plan to sell that same market data back to vendors — inventory demand, customer interest and sentiment, and competitive pricing.
