Overview

The Daniel Defense MK18 is a semi-automatic AR-style pistol chambered in 5.56x45mm with a 30+1 capacity and an anodized matte black finish. Inspired by military CQB configurations, it features a 10.3-inch cold hammer-forged chrome moly vanadium steel barrel with a 1:7 twist, chrome lining, heavy phosphate coating, and a salt bath-nitrided flash suppressor. The direct impingement system utilizes a carbine-length low-profile gas block machined from 4140 hardened steel. Built with CNC-machined 7075-T6 aluminum Mil-Spec upper and lower receivers featuring an enhanced flared magazine well, the pistol includes a Daniel Defense RIS II MK18 quad rail handguard with heat-resistant Santoprene rail panels, an M16 profile chrome-lined bolt carrier group with a properly staked gas key, an H buffer, and an independently ambidextrous GRIP-N-RIP charging handle. Furniture includes an SB Tactical SBA3 5-position adjustable pistol stabilizing brace and a rubber-overmolded Daniel Defense pistol grip with an integral trigger guard.
