Overview

The DA Targets 6-inch knockdown target kit utilizes self-healing polymer technology designed to seal bullet holes upon impact, allowing the target to withstand thousands of rounds. The target features patented heat-activated, color-changing material that provides immediate visual feedback by changing color when struck. In warm weather conditions (60-80°F), the target appears black with yellow hits; between 80-100°F, the target appears red with yellow hits. This kit includes the 6-inch target, a self-healing mounting base, and an adjustment screw. It can be mounted to a 2x4 for use as a knockdown or swinging target and is suitable for both indoor and outdoor environments. The system is compatible with all common rifle and pistol calibers, though it performs best with rimfire and pistol ammunition. Users should avoid hollow-point, wadcutter, and blunt-faced projectiles, as well as any ammunition traveling under 800 FPS. The target should be protected from UV light when not in use.
